Hotel de Varenne

Hotel de Varenne is a former Hôtel particulier (private mansion) dating from the beginning of the XIXth century. It once belonged to Nicolas-Charles Oudinot (1767-1847), Duke of Reggio, Maréchal of France, Grand Aigle de la Légion d'honneur. He ended his long career in the army as governor of the Invalides. His biography presents him as an authentique hero with a rough, but chivalrous character. This building has now been transformed into a charming hotel with 24 rooms. The decoration pays tribute to the refinery of the Louis XVI and Empire era. The furniture was made specially for the hotel. The bedrooms and the bathrooms have just recently been renovated. Almost all of them look onto the garden covered in ivy and full of green plants, bushes and flowers. Stylish bedrooms, all personalised with Parisian elegance and refined in accordance with the great French tradition.Our clients are mainly tourists, embassy staff, ministry personnel, as well as French politicians (with the French National Assembly being so close!). The size of the hotel enables us to give you a personal welcome and to look after you in all serenity. You are not a number and we are there for you at all times. Reception: Our reception is there to welcome you and is on hand to advise you 24 hours a day. It will be a pleasure for Béatrix, our head receptionnist and her team to recommend which places to visit as well as nice boutiques and quality restaurants. They will also be happy to make any reservations on your behalf. Languages spoken at reception: French, English, German, Spanish. Parking : The Invalides car park is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. 24 euros per 24 hours. We will give you directions. Internet: Your room is equipped with an Internet connection plug. There is also a terminal installed for your use on the ground floor of the hotel in the lounge. WIFI internet access.
